Federal Single Audits (Uniform Guidance) and ARPA Funds

Many local governments are receiving ARPA Funds from the Federal government in excess of the $750, 000 threshold which, if expended during a municipality's fiscal year, could trigger a federal single audit (Uniform Guidance). In April, the U.S. Treasury released new guidance which simplified this process if your entity receives (in the aggregate), less than $10  million in ARPA funds. This session explains what this guidance means to your entity, what uniform guidance audits (and attestations) are, and the process and procedures for audits conducted under these federal rules.
